Another option if you’re on a budget is to use a traditional mattress (you can use your existing mattress, for example) with a memory foam mattress topper – twin size. A topper is a piece of foam you put right on top of your bed, underneath the mattress pad, to provide extra comfort. It’s not quite the same as a memory foam mattress, but they’re much less expensive. This is also a great option if you’re buying a bed for a child who will eventually move out and get their own bed.
